The position will require to travel and client presentations. Some international and/or sales experience is preferable, but not essential.

Houston Based – Mid sized Geophysical service company – Seeking an experienced seismic data processing geophysicist to assist with formulating processing projects in conjunction with clients. It is essential to have a solid practical knowledge of 2D, 3D land & marine seismic data processing techniques and also have good communication skills. Having good client exposure will also be advantageous. Experience with time and depth migration, including 4C, 4D and inversion techniques preferred. Candidate will be responsible for understanding clients’ interpretation objectives, performing tests to subsets of data and using that information to derive processing sequences for entire projects. Prefer at least 10 years of seismic data processing experience.

International – Mid sized Geophysical service company – Seeking multiple experienced seismic data processing geophysicists to be on rotation basis aboard marine seismic acquisition ships worldwide. It is essential to have a solid practical knowledge of 2D/3D marine seismic data acquisition and processing techniques. The successful candidate must be comfortable with working 12 hour shifts and will be on a rotational roster of approximately 5-6 weeks on & off. Prefer at least 5 years of shipboard seismic data processing experience.
